Ways to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation this Advent

Advent Confession Schedule

All parishioners are invited to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) this Advent in anticipation of Christmas. Consider taking this opportunity to prepare for Christmas and to receive God’s grace and forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

* Blessed Sacrament Parish, Throop Tuesday December 17th at 6:30 pm

*Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Dickson City Wednesday December 18th at 6:30 pm

* Holy Cross Parish, Olyphant Thursday December 19th at 6:30 pm

*Saturdays 3:00 to 3:45 pm at Holy Cross 4:30 to 5:15 pm at Blessed Sacrament

*By appointment: Call Msgr. Delaney at the Rectory (570) 489-0752/(570) 489-1963 to schedule an appointment.

Children and Families are most welcome. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is an amazing gift from our Lord to help us to grow as individuals, families and Church. As we draw closer to Christmas, what better way to prepare, nourished with the food of God’s divine mercy and forgiveness.

Maybe it’s been a long time since you’ve been to confession. Remember “Do not fear” (Isaiah 41:10). The priest sharing the Sacrament with you will guide you.

“The Lord has done great things for us,” We are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3

May the Lord grant us all the gift of reconciliation and may we all receive it and celebrate it well in these days of preparation for Christmas.
